has the marketing of films been the one major focus area in recent times and its success is related directly to the success of films even though the content of the film is mediocre????/. a student of mine was asst director in  a movie called soundtrack. saw it. appreciated it. but acc to him if the producers sare gaa ma had marketed it properly it would have been  at least an average success and not a flop. the bigger the marketing budget the better the opening
