work hard and get into an institution with a brand name. yr first job after mba  depends a lot on the brand name of yr institution. a mediocre name gets stuck in yr resume.

was reading latest outlook. a well settled couple committed suicide in goa after spending many years abroad. reason mentioned in the suicide note. they wanted to die when they were happy

met an old retail student out of the blue in phoenix mill. guy invited my son and i to his show room where he was the floor manager. gifted me a shirt. great feeling  after interacting with an ex student. great gesture

addressed a fresh batch who want to become maha bakwas aadmis. mbas. these guys came for a seminar and one prof asked them what do they expect if the get selected. people said  knowledge,position,family recognition.   not one person said more money.    SURPRISING.  INDIANS in general dont want to talk or ask for more money

parents who loose children at a grown up age are the worst sufferers.children today get depressed very easily. as parents we need to sit,talk and find out what is happening in their life. take interest. it is not abt marks. recently a close friend lost her 17 yr old son. hope and pray she pulls through this tough word called LIFE.
